I dont agree. There were no English subtitles. Why do you think that was? Because to lyrics he was singing were so offensive, sexist, misogynistic, sexually explicit, gratuitous, that the FCC would take action unless of course spainish speaking children listening dont matter.
He also appropriated and disrespected God Bless America.
God bless America is primarily a patriotic prayer requesting divine protection, guidance, and favor for the United States.

nobody cared if he was a citizen or not smarty pants. what they did find offensive was that he does not sing in English.

in case you forgot America's main language is English, having an artist perform in Spanish at a powerful event that means the world to Americans and watched by millions across the country is pretty cringing
