How fast do you talk?

I do not watch a lot of older people on youtube, because my talking speed and the talking speed of my friends is around 3-5 times their speed of talking. I had liars say I talk fast due to social anxiety, but the fact is, my speed is around 10% slower then people in my demographic, so I can almost never initiate a sentence in a group setting because somebody else has started speaking in the room before I could initiate a dialogue. So this ridiculous notion that there is no demographic that matches my talking speed is a lie. I am fast around seniors with declining speeds, but totally normal for people my age.

I tend to speak rather slowly, which can make people think I'm retarded. Actually a lot of intelligent people speak slowly because their brain is working overtime. If you casually ask me how I'm doing my mind goes back to how I've been feeling over the past week.

I talk pretty fast too 😄 Especially when I’m excited about movies, festivals or some wild plot twist, my words just tumble out. Around my friends, I’m average speed, but with older people or calm speakers, I feel like I’m on 1.5x playback.

Talking speed is super demographic and context-based, not some universal standard 🧠🎬

Fast if I'm very comfortable with the people I'm around. I'll purposely speak slower to people that need me to speak slower. I try to be very mindful with who I'm speaking to.

slow¿ sometimes i get so intoxicated because i want my demographic to think its because of the liquor im slow. Around here when you talk fast they think you trying to claim you a more intelligent fella. Or you probably did some research just so they will be impressed. you could sit in a room with people and they have a different language to speak, so you just sit and make smiles and giggles 😏.
