It wasn't really the one that got away. I asked her out she turned me down. I said OK thank you and left.  2 days later I run in to here she walked up to me and said she was sorry for being rude the other day.  And I said no its all good  And she said no you dont understand she said the 2 guys that were standing behind her one of them was her boyfriend.  The other one was his brother.. and I just looked at her. She grabbed my arm and said i shouldn't say this , but if you wouldn't have been there ,  I think I would have said yes , I used to have the biggest crush on you  And the look on her face kind of change and she said , I gotta go and she walks past me and I turned around and I saw her boyfriend and brother again   Probably about 2 months. Maybe 3 months after that.  She walked up to me and she said, hi.
 And she said.
 I don't blame you if you say no, but would you like to go out with me? And I just kind of smiled, and I said, well, I probably would have said yes, but I'm dating somebody right now.   But she gave me a big , fat hug and just held on to me tight. And said OK. She wouldn't let me see her face. She just kept her head turned and she said , i'm gotta go and just walked away

I think it's just a phase. I just logged in again after 7-8 years. Saw the post that I posted when I created this account. After reading the whole thing, I remember the girl I wrote it for, and tbh I don't feel a thing now. I didn't even remember. I know it can be hard when you are going through it, but time will heal everything.
