It wasn't really the one that got away. I asked her out she turned me down. I said OK thank you and left.

2 days later I run in to here she walked up to me and said she was sorry for being rude the other day.

And I said no its all good
And she said no you dont understand she said the 2 guys that were standing behind her one of them was her boyfriend.

The other one was his brother.. and I just looked at her. She grabbed my arm and said i shouldn't say this , but if you wouldn't have been there ,

I think I would have said yes , I used to have the biggest crush on you
And the look on her face kind of change and she said , I gotta go and she walks past me and I turned around and I saw her boyfriend and brother again

Probably about 2 months. Maybe 3 months after that.
She walked up to me and she said, hi.\n And she said.\n I don't blame you if you say no, but would you like to go out with me? And I just kind of smiled, and I said, well, I probably would have said yes, but I'm dating somebody right now.

But she gave me a big , fat hug and just held on to me tight. And said OK. She wouldn't let me see her face. She just kept her head turned and she said , i'm gotta go and just walked away

I think it's just a phase. I just logged in again after 7-8 years. Saw the post that I posted when I created this account. After reading the whole thing, I remember the girl I wrote it for, and tbh I don't feel a thing now. I didn't even remember. I know it can be hard when you are going through it, but time will heal everything.

@MontBlanc I made a mistake. Not cheating but she was staying in college and I was being deployed. I didn't think it was right to make her wait a year and I didn't ask to marry her like I was going to and eventually she met someone while I was away, 2 years later she was engaged.
Im married now but took me years to find another good woman.
You ever hear that Garth Brooks song unanswered prayers? That reminds me of that.
