What was the last book you’ve read?

I recently got back in to reading after years of not being able to, I just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, I’ve been seeking some romance! Great book.

All the way through? I'm pretty sure it was a "history" book on the life of The Beatles. Kind of a day by day diary from their start to at least the break-up. Before that, it was a couple books by or about Andy Partridge and, before that, a huge book about Pink Floyd by Nick Mason, another HUGE book about the history of Monty Python and before that it SHOULD;VE been, "The Real Animal House" by Chris Miller.

I always read a fiction book and non fiction at the same time depending on my mood.

My fiction book right now is game of thrones.

Non fiction: the energy codes by Dr. Sue Morter

Last one I read was game of thrones. These books really have me hooked. I didn't expect to like them this much...

I'm a fan of Sarah J. Maas' stuff. I really liked A Court of Thorns and Roses. I ended up reading the whole series. If you make it to 5th and last book in the series (A Court of Silver Flames) you won't regret it. It get's really good (and really hot)!

Lately I've been reading some darker romance books. If you're into that sort of thing, let me know and I can recommend some good ones if you're interested.

Oh, I just recently re-read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I find that book so awesome I read it about every winter. And I'm quite sure all the answers to life, the universe and everything are in there somewhere! 🤣

The last book I finished was “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. It’s a short Japanese novel about a café where you can time travel, but nothing in the present changes. Very emotional, a bit magical, and quietly romantic in its own way ☕📖✨

A Reader’s Digest compilation of “Six Gothic Tales”, and i haven’t completed the reading.
Turns out “gothic” meant something somewhat different fifty to ninety years ago. I will finish. I just have to be in the right frame of mind.

Does audio books count? If so then it would be a book called “the tide”. If not then it would probably be the “ Ten Commandments”. Not the book but the stone tables that Moses carved out. Yes it’s been that long.

The last books I read cover to cover was the Firemane series of three books by Raymond Feist. The last book I read anything at all from was probably a Japanese language book, or possible a car manual.

I too was prolific reader that hasn't had time to read for a loooooong time. I will look for this book. I could use some romance. The last book I read was a gritty dark retelling of the Peter Pan story that was very hard to get through because of the child molestation themes and trauma that were too close to my real life.
