Why is Black culture just so popular in mainstream?

One always hears its all about box office, and one can't help but notice they gotten unusually popular recently. Us, Sinners, Get Out, Black Klansman, Black Panther (although thats clout off Marvel, so prolly doesn't count), The Woman King and so forth. Whats the deal? I noticed even SNL has a disproportionate amount of "Black" sketches. But then if you think about it, hip hop also was a "Black" thing and it resonated even in places like China or Russia.

Not sure if you are black or not, but the reason for this is because people only want to see us as entertaining. Nothing more. And it's not a new thing, it's been going on for decades. It's just that in modern times it's given more spotlight for diversity reasons.

The white-run Hollywood industry figures if they can duly give black people more spotlight, recognition, and air time then it'll make us happy. Same with the music industry, although no one buys and listens to black music more than white people. Hell, I have non-black friends and co-workers who listen to rappers and hip hoppers I either don't know besides the big names or I have no interest in them whatsoever.

And yes, loving black music is huge around the world but especially in Latin America, the middle east, India, and far east Asia, which is so ironic because these nations often do not even like black people but they want to look, sound, and dance like us. At least in the UK they give credit for copying black music when they give their artists MOBO awards (music of black origin).

So it's all for entertainment purposes. Non-black people would rather like to acknowledge black people as being great performers, athletes, and artists than to recognize how black people have and do other things that they tend to consider only white and Asian people as smart enough for. Like the black woman who invented the security camera, the black man who made the first car before Ford, or the black woman who laid the foundation for GPS. And let me not get started on ancient black African history, that'll just be too long.

All the TV ads and beyond... they're stratigically placed. Destroy from within, because they're still mad about a certain painter from Austria.
