If you were a fairytale character where would you live?

Local press has just run a minor article on some company that analysed 40 towns and villages across the UK using key ‘fairytale’ indicators, including historic character, proximity to castles and nearby forest walks, as well as remoteness.

In fairness, these lists pop up like magic mushrooms, but let's have some fun anyway. I've found the most flattering photos that pop up a lot on Google.

So if you were a fairytale character, where would you live?

The only one of those I've been to is Oban, but Tobermory looks like a great place for a fairytale. I'd be the captain of the local ferry (get the pun?) and live in the blue house with my wife, two sons and daughter. Little does the town know that my wife comes from a family of witches, good ones, that brings prosperity to the town.

That’s interesting. I’m not exactly an expert on fairytales, but i always kinda picture fairytale settings as rural; maybe suburban. These little towns don’t fit the bill, but maybe their nearest outskirts do.
