I think 2 have. One was just the song alone and the other had further context (a movie using the song).

The one on it's own was when I was pretty young and had just got out of a relationship. The song was Second Hand Heart by Gary Morris I believe. The other was It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday by Boyz II Men though I don't remember the movie anymore.

bonnie raitt's "if i can't make you love me", def leopard "have you ever needed someone so bad" and this little gem that i ran across not long ago. i'm so glad i found this group. it's an audition but the short backstory is pertinent.

It happens all the time, most often when listening to women singing operatic arias. "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini and Forzano, and Delibes' "Flower Duet" get me every time.
