Nope… There’s one Georgian song my grandpa, grandma and I used to think together. I sang it after he passed away.
I sang and cried often. But now when I sing I smile, reminds me of the time that I spent with them, and makes me feel like I keep him alive by singing our song together.
Every-time I go to his graveyard, I wait everyone to leave and I quietly sing that song to him. I imagine if there’s any part of him somehow somewhere keeping living, he is probably also singing with me.
If not, then let it be a lullaby for his eternal sleep.
It is not about heartbreak, like so many songs, but about a more serious and emotionally impactful topic; the loss of a loved one... which somehow is less common (but not uncommon) in emotional songs.
It portrays happy memories with a sad undertone very well. 'Oh no he is dead' is usually way less emotionally impactful than 'Remember the good times? Yeah, that's all there is left.'
It is just a really pretty song. I could've just said the songs that were played at the funerals of my grandparents, but those are tied to personal experiences so I don't really count them.

It's not as boring as most emotional songs.
