I respect Joe Rogan as a cultural phenomenon more than I “like” him 😊
His podcast sometimes has fascinating guests, especially scientists, fighters, and comedians, and I’ll watch specific episodes.

But his style is very bro-y and chaotic, so I don’t treat anything there as “truth,” just conversation. As a media person, I see him as a huge, imperfect but interesting platform rather than a role model. 🎧

He's very interesting when I listen to him, but nothing draws me to want to listen every day.

As one example, he was tougher on Gavin Newsom than anyone else has been, but truly, he let him off the hook, when he should have destroyed him to the point where no one would ever take him seriously again. He's done that with people a number of times. Iniquitous people should be afraid to go on his show, and if they don't, that alone should say something about them: Kamala Harris.

We need one person in the media who will truly hold people accountable for their corruption. Newsom's totals almost $100 billion, $25 billion in stolen homeless funds, right into his pocket, $17 billion in stolen bullet train money (and 25 years later, not one mile of track laid!), not to mention burning down the city of LA and not allowing people to rebuild their homes, and no one cares.

The only time i ever listened to him was when he interviewed President Trump. He did a great job drawing him out and getting him to talk about his life experiences and not just about politics. The interview ran 3 hours and I listened to the whole thing.
