I disagree with his personal views in many reforms but I like how he has had nearly everyone i Listen to on his show, as well as people on a posing side of every soft run ideologically Philosophically sociologically etc.
and what attracts me to His show Aside form the openness to variety of guests is the way he is so simple. Yes he will cater to each guest and people complain about that but it is a STYLE. And I think it very clever. He is gentle and friendly and genuinely inquisitive. He gets people feeling like they are long time buddies. They fee warm and safer and admired and respected. They become putty in his hands... Very comfortable off guarding unassuming. And he Can totally destroy a fake argument or propaganda or someone who clearly just parroting what they heard, JUST by innocently asking “ what is that” what does that mean. I’ve never heard that “saying word phrase idea “fact etc
His talent is in that he is not retina to prove he’s a genius he recognizes he isn’t and booed about it. Bc he doesn’t need to sit there Brilliant, he doesn’t mind asking simple questions that people don’t like to ask bc it makes them look “
stupid”
I enjoy how it totally throws off anyone who actually doesn’t know what they are saying bc they are so Accustomed to people just agreeing bc they don’t want to affaire or look uneducated or bc they have some agenda that makes agreeing beneficial.
I have seen him unravel a person by innocently asking what a word the guest was using to make a very broad assertion - character attack- pointing out they should together probably look up the definition to make sure they Are both using it correctly in the conversation before continuing lol
He was not being a d*ck. He was polite and he didn’t know what it meant and it’s true you avoiding use things incorrectly especially when it’s to malign another person... So he was really asking and it’s not his fault they could not answer. NYT Journalist no less 🤦♀️
He’s is this really muscly tattoos meat head looking guy who is so soft spoken respectful inquisitive and kind on his show, with people from all walks of life... And if I’d only seen his profile picture there did NO WAY I would have tuned in. I was brought there bc my YouTube kept playing due to the the guest speaker being someone regularly I watch.
I don't know if it’s irony or what, I just love the surprise lol

I like Joe Rogan. He's sort of like an "average" guy who happens to interview people who are really well-known for their craft or are just interesting in general. (I use the term "average" in quotes since he's clearly a smart dude, but he's relatable to the masses, myself included. He never comes across as pretentious. He's sort of like that nice guy you met freshman year in the dorms and still talk to).
He's a really curious guy and always asks great questions. He's spoken to some of the most politically incorrect college professors, Elon Musk, musicians, etc. He's never pushy and he doesn't really seem to have much of an agenda, other than getting a good interview out of the guest.
There are a ton of memes out there about him talking about DMT, acid, drugs, etc., but he really only brings those up as an occasional joke ("Of course you were stressed, you were in college and never smoked weed!"), but he's never pushy about it.
Joe Rogan is a cool dude who I admire, not for his intelligence, but the fact he is very open-minded and willing to expand his worldview. He does comedy and MMA, which is a weird combination to say the least (not as weird as comedy and steroids, like Carrot Top, but still), and despite dealing with many of the nutjobs in Hollywood, still remains pretty centrist or moderately left.
Joe Rogan legit is a dude I would take advice from and look up to, again, not because I think he's intelligent per se, but he's very disciplined and very open-minded. As for his podcast, though? I tried to listen to it a couple years ago. It's WAY too long, for me. I'd only listen to it if I had to do really long commutes to and from work everyday. But it takes me six minutes to walk to work everyday (I'm a teacher) and I really don't have time for his podcast. I can listen to about ten minutes at a time before the Millennial ADHD starts to kick in. Also, I don't like a lot of his guests. Some, like Elon Musk or Tulsi Gabbard, can make the whole podcast enjoyable. But many of them are boring AF, even if Joe is interested in them.
So yeah. Cool dude.
Dumb, intellectually biased, conspiracy theorist who promotes and legitimized retarded alt-right figures on his platform would be my quick description.
I don't think his podcast is useful, because I don't think most of the figures who appear on his podcast are in any way useful.
It's not a platform for valuable discourse, it's a circlejerk for alt-righters and conservatives to validate their biases by listening to pseudointellectuals who impress the average viewer by having a greater-than-average ability to formulate coherent sentences.
I guess dumb assholes should too have a platform to speak.
But I personally think that listening to morons propagating conspiracy theories and making false equivalencies to promote their biases under the guise of impartiality, reason and open-mindedness in a way that shits all over the entire concept of free thought isn't really a worthwhile activity, so I don't watch his podcasts.

I really like him. My husband loves him. His stand-up is near perfection. He's a great storyteller. His word choices are excellent yet he manages to sound natural and not forced. His podcast is extremely successful. He managed to get incredibly esteemed people on his show. I would definitely check him out if I were you.
Just take everything he says with a grain of salt. He's not a prophet. He's just a guy. He will make you think and entertain you. But you can still hold strong to your beliefs in the mean time.
See these Comedy Central videos? They are really good. I love his 'Hotel Fire' bit. It's at a very very small used-to-be strip bar in Los Angeles, called Cheetah's. That's my favourite location for stand-up shows. It's very intimate. There's a stripper pole on stage, which is a bit funny/odd, but it's a great intimate venue and Comedy Central has bought the rights to many of the best comics doing stand-up there.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=joe+rogan+stand+up+comedy+centralJoe is a solid dude. I don't agree with everything he says, but I enjoy his conversations and interviews with his guests. He is very interpersonal and upfront with his views and a good listener that keeps both his audience and guest invested in the topic at hand.
Not my style, my boyfriend use to listen to him quite a lot back in the day. He seems like a smart dude and has a pretty open platform. That being said i did see he was against wearing masks or claimng weird stuff about corona so I don't know how to feel about him anymore
I remember watching his podcast early on because of John Anthony West and Graham Hancock.
I was into crypto-archaeology and was surprised to see those folks on his show.
Most of it is just entertainment, but occasionally there is insightful stuff.
I dont like Joe Rogan, but I like his show and interview style.Very boring with monotone voice. That doesn’t grab my attention.
Its Basically a group of guys laughing and agreeing with other. But if there’s disagreement, it’s only Joe Rogan who has to be ‘right’ cause it’s his show after all.His comedy is great. His character on News Radio was funny and I enjoyed Fear Factor on occasion. Yet I can't watch a full podcast of his to save my life. But that goes for a lot of comedians.
I've been following his stuff every here and there and I recently came to the conclusion that he's a joke.
Just another gorilla on a high horse acting like all male behavior that he doesn't agree with is a sign of insecurity and weakness or whatever.. as if there's only one true way to be strong and confident.Joe Rogan is really annoying. I don’t like his personality at all but I do like the guests he brings on his shows.
I like him. He has a lot of serious political figures as guests, but then he also brought Alex Jones and funny weirdos like him.
I don't think much about him one way or the other. I've seen a little bit of his content, some of it is worthwhile I suppose, but he's not exactly a scholar of philosophy or something.
i do like bill burr more than him. but he's alright. joe talks too much anyway. he's way of talking is more of a radio guy than a comedian.
Only seen his one with David Goggins. I liked it. Go watch them.
Joe is awesome. He is funny, insightful and he's not afraid to speak the truth.
I've seen a couple of his videos on YouTube. I enjoyed them but he is extremely careful about disagreeing with the people he interviews.
Not a fan. Used to like his open convos but they’re too ideological.
He's one hell of an interviewer and he's pretty funny.
His comdey stinks.
But his interviews are cool.I think it was at its peak about 3 years ago
I like Joe. Interesting guy.
