SpongeBob is pretty darned good, in my opinion.

When my son, a toddler at the time that SpongeBob first aired, became a SpongeBob fan, I was initially turned off by that show.
I gave it a chance, though, simply because my son loved it.
I quickly became a huge fan myself.

I can't choose between Hey Arnold, Rugrats, and Digimon. A lot of people think Digimon is the lesser version of Pokémon but I honestly think it's much better.

For me, the greatest ever is Neon Genesis Evangelion. The way it mixes mecha, psychology, philosophy, and raw emotion still blows my mind. Visually and thematically it’s art.

Close behind: Cowboy Bebop for its music, style, and melancholic vibe. Both changed anime forever 🎨📺

I haven't watched it but I'm going to say the one piece anime, did you know it has 1,155 episodes, that is massively impressive and still going, I think the amount of effort put into it puts it at least near the top

I wasn't around either, silly. I think the roman numerals on the cartoon ID'd when it was done. Max Fleisher who did popeye also did the rotoscoping for that series.

@Likes2drive Love Bugs and the crew, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Rick and Morty, Hell Girl, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Rocko's Modern Life, I am Weasel, Catdog, Robot Chicken, Invader Zim. These are all wonderful. Sponge Bob is pertty funny too.

Underdog seemed cast for youngsters. As an adult I don't like it. But Fractured Fairy Tales and Mr. Peabody and Sherman were laugh riots for adults and kids. Bullwinkle and Rocky were also just as fun for adults as for kids. But they don't show them anymore. The rotoscoped Superman cartoons from the late 30s and 40s were beautifully rendered and looked like 3D. Amazing art! Same was true for some of the Popeye cartoons by Fleischer.

The ones I've listed previously from Cartoon Network, are fun for adults to watch as well as kids. Oh and Samurai Jack!!! PoeerpUff Girls! Dexter's Lab! Wow!! Great art and fun!!
