Why are the 90's so famous?

They were a blast. Great music, fashion, cars... Creativity all around. And the last decade without gizmos, 'smart phones' and apps.

A smartphone is very useful. It allows me to stay in contact with my office without having to be there permanently. It gives me a certain amount of freedom. But I think most will agree it's also addictive to some point. I know when to switch it off. The world doesn't stop turning if you're unavailable for a couple of hours.

Right. So my freedom is not to use a smart phone. Don't need to read messages at night. Nothing important that cannot wait until next day. So I try not to be much more dependent than I must. I do not do anything important with my phone. So I use it for gag and chatting. And phoning. Of course. Most useful is the navigation. Rest is not really necessary.

I agree 100%. But even navigation can be off, as I experienced a few weeks ago. Sent me in a completely different direction.
