Why do people only think of 70s, 90s, and early 2000s aesthetic comebacks instead of 80s, 50s, 40s, and 30s?

I remember that from 2013 to 2017, people were trying to bring back the 1970s Bell Bottoms aesthetic as well as the Natraul hair movement. From 2020 to now, they are trying to bring back 90s grunge and early 2000s futurism, Y2K, mean girls, and popular girl wear, as well as Japanese coquette and ganguro fashion. It's like people are stuck in marveling after those two eras.

I never see people try to at least reinvent 80s wear, makeup, or hair. I have seen people try to bring back 1950s and 1960s makeup, such as the eyes and lashes, etc.

The 40s, 50s, 60s, and 80s were just as good eras as the 70s, 90s, and early 2000s for fashion. It would be refreshing to see old Hollywood glamour make a comeback and male and female starlets come back.

When people think of the 40s and 50s, they only think of Marilyn.

Anyone else hope to see a beautiful recreation of those eras?
