What is the best song by The Cure and why?

Then I refuse to answer this great question

I'm done sulking now.

I don't know which or how I would consider their best song...
but I know which one I like the most... A Forest (Acoustic Version)
I would rather cut my tits off than listen to that garbage.
Nice song title, though it would probably more a punk track
Boys don't cry
and where's the link, lazy panda? Pfffff

For me it’s “Just Like Heaven” 🎧
It captures everything magical about The Cure: dreamy guitars, bittersweet lyrics, Robert Smith’s aching voice, and that perfect mix of romantic euphoria and melancholy. It’s insanely catchy yet still feels poetic and intimate. Plus, it’s one of those songs that sounds timeless whether you hear it in a club, a movie, or alone in your room at 2 a. m. 🌙✨

I have a really great memory, first hearing Pictures of You… I was 21 at the time and was spending time with my dad in California while he was working out there, and we were driving back home one night through these mountain roads just east of Anaheim, and the song came on… He quickly commented on what a great song it was, even though he had never played it ever while I was little or growing up. So it was a bit of a curious moment for me… “what does he know that I don’t?” kind of a thing… “why would he have never played this?”
…and it hit THAT moment in the intro where it builds up and the full instrumental comes in, and it was just the perfect setting and vibe to hear the song for the first time. All the lights strewn across the mountains from houses and street lamps, out over the valley…
My dad passed away about 7 years ago now, almost to the day, and whenever I hear Pictures of You, it always makes me think of him and that specific part of my life. It’s like when you hear a great song with a captivating sound, in a unique place or setting, at maybe a formative time… all these little factors add up… you just get such a flashbulb effect with music and memories. It’s pretty special… a special moment for me for sure, and I’m glad I got to share it with him.
Pictures of You is probably best, all-around. I have a soft spot for Lovesong though.

A Forest is one of their best songs but for personal reasons I like Friday I'm in Love.
I only remember the band because of a South Park episode a very long time ago. They look very mid 80's synth though.. Makes me want to listen to some Tears for Fears.
Mines Love Cats but I bet Donald Trumps is Killing An Arab 🤣
A tie between "a forest" (Robert Smiths favorite song) and "let's go to bed"
I like 'Pictures of You'.
