The Testaments and it's about Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel of the same name which takes place 15 years after The Handmaid's Tale which basically chronicles the fall of the Republic of Gilead. The story tells of three distinct point of views in the lives of the women living there.

I actually went down there with my dad when he bought our boat. It was freaky being on that lake having seen the show.

It was cool. We went to the Blue Cat, which does not look anything like in the show. When we took the boat out, we saw some landmarks like lover’s leap and popular coves.

The salesman told us something interesting. Only about 5% of the shots in the show were actually taken there. 95% was filmed in Georgia for tax purposes. The scenery shots at the beginning of episodes were pretty much it for actual Lake or the Ozarks.

For me it would be “Shōgun” 😅 I just rewatched the finale. So I’d wake up in feudal Japan, caught between Toranaga’s quiet power moves and this looming civil war. Political tension everywhere, gorgeous kimonos, lethal court etiquette. I’d probably be some low-key artist in the castle, trying not to get executed while sketching samurai and secretly eavesdropping on plots. 🎎📜
