How would you rank the five Indiana Jones movies?

Those being Raiders, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, Crystal Skull, and Dial of Destiny.

They are basically targeted at kids. The idea was recreating the Saturday afternoon matinee movies for kids from the 1950's. The first one was perfect and a great novelty when it was originally released. It was nonstop action and lot's of humor with a light romance thrown in. The character casting was good. But the formula got older with each new release and I stopped paying attention after Temple Of Doom. I'm just not the target audience. Kids probably still love em though.

I'm not sure about that. The "ripping the heart out" scene is what got the second movie an age 18 certification here. Quite a lot of violence and death in these movies.

2 - Raiders of the Lost Ark

3 - Temple of Doom

4 - Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

5 - Dial of Destiny; I've not seen it, nor do I have any intention or desire to. As far as I'm concerned, Indiana Jones ended with the Last Crusade.

Honestly, Raiders of the Lost Ark is easily number one for me, dude. Then I'd probably go with Last Crusade at second because Connery and Ford together were just hilarious. Temple of Doom sits right in the middle at third for me it's super dark and weird, but I still love it.

Okay, for the last two, Dial of Destiny takes fourth because honestly though, it's way better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is definitely dead last.

For me it goes like this:

Raiders of the Lost Ark at the top, pure adventure perfection and gorgeous old‑school filmmaking.
Then The Last Crusade, because the chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery is unbeatable.
Temple of Doom next, darker and messy but visually wild and fun.
Dial of Destiny after that, uneven yet surprisingly heartfelt and nostalgic.
Crystal Skull last, some charm but the CGI and fridge scene still hurt 😅✨
