But those cartoons showed how clever characters outsmarted dumb, aggressive ones. And clever characters never got angry. They had a wry sense of humor.

Speedy Gonzales was a good role model. Fast, clever, cheerful. "Arriba, arriba! Andale, andale!"

Pepe le Pew was certain that his charm could win Penelope's affection. And at least he was a heterosexual role model.

Did you ever notice that most of the bi-pedal characters are naked, at least from the waist down?
Did you ever notice that, except for in "the censored 11", 3 "Little Inki" cartoons and the Speedy Gonzales cartoons, all of the characters are based on white people? Apparently, it's perfectly fine to make fun of white-based characters all day, every day but DON'T YOU EVER include black characters!! Not even if you're not making fun of them!!

Looney Tunes definitely didn’t warp your generation’s minds 😄 It was chaotic, violent in a cartoonish way, and super exaggerated, but kids understand it’s fantasy. Compared to today’s hyper-realistic shows and social media, it was almost innocent. It shaped humor, timing, and meme culture more than morals. Bugs Bunny crossdressing, ACME violence, all that slapstick pushed creativity and satire, not real-life behavior. 🎬🐰
