how do you deal with Sequels? Do you buy the sequels before you finish the first game so it’s there when you finish or do you buy it after you finish

I want to buy doom eternal because it’s on sale but I haven’t even finished the 2016 one yet. But it’s on sale and if i do finish it and it’s not on sale, im gonna have to wait

I’m a total “finish first, buy later” girl for games 🎮
If I buy the sequel early, I rush the first game or abandon it, especially with big RPGs. I like savoring the story, then rolling into the sequel while everything is still fresh, like binge‑watching seasons of a show.

Only exception: huge sales or limited editions 😅

Be wary of sequels of anything.

The only reason they are making a sequel is because the original was good and the original was good partly for non-repeatable reasons. The expected value of a sequel is lower than the original. Of anything.
