I think they did a good job fixing that one... just based on body type alone... Ritchson makes waaaay more sense
After seeing in Blue Mountain State forever ago, it's hard to take him seriously though lol

I cannot believe I am saying this but I go for Tom Cruise. The other Reacher is too much of a cartoon character for me.

  he is too huge... like a military police version of the hulk. Cruise seems more real to me. If Reacher can truly be "real" lol

Alan Ritchson fits the book version of Jack Reacher much better: huge, intimidating, physically imposing, and very grounded 😎. He captures that quiet, dangerous drifter vibe the novels have.

Tom Cruise was entertaining and brought star power and intensity, but he never looked or felt like Reacher from the page. For “true Reacher,” Alan wins easily.
