Should it be any surprise that putting a child into the Disney system completely screws them up, and then right into the music business, which is just as bad but in slightly different ways. She essentially had to take on adult responsibilities as a young child, and had to perform on demand like an adult.

Parents that will do that to their children rarely have great morals themselves, and that's definitely true in Spears' case, so she had a limited foundation to build a personality and set of morals and values for herself, and THEN being thrown into Hollywood which is has far more than its fair share of monsters and bad influences.

Every Disney kid has SOME trauma from that, and it's no surprise that some handle it better than others. Britney wasn't really set up to succeed as a person - her parents were far more interested in her as an earner and celebrity.

I'm sure plenty of the rumors that go around are just lies or misunderstandings that people have made up, but clearly she's also had some real problems too.

And I say this as a huge fan of her music.

We have to stop pretending otherwise.
Fans cried “free Britney” for years because we love her.

But sometimes it’s not enough to wish someone well.

Some people need help.

What she has exactly is not publicly known but chances are there’s a pill for it. She’s just off her rocker

She’s trying to capitalize on that time she had in the early 00’s before her conservatorship ruined her life. I can respect her wanting to make a life based on her own merit and not under the watchful eye of her insanely controlling parents. The choreography isn’t really all that different from what she was doing back in the day. Post 9/11 entertainment was either something inherently comforting, or provocatively edgy. Britney’s work fell into the latter category with her sexualized body and dance routines to her songs. I’m probably not going to sign up for her classes, and I’m hoping her journey to self discovery is going well.

Histrionic personality addicted for attention. She probably doesn't understand that some jokes are okay for kids and for young girls but after hitting certain age such jokes are embarrassing.
It's like with those US movie starlets who complain in social media they are over sexualized but then 25 minutes later they post half naked pics to get more attention.

Both. She's had to play a part her entire life. The eyes of the world were on her since she was basically a little kid trying out for Mickey Mouse Club. She was taught everything she knows by random tutors and had savage parents who didn't care how she was doing as long as she kept raking in the money that they were "managing for her"... We balk at the things she does, but she's going through the same life-long trauma as Judy Garland.

It's sad to see where she is today, Britney Spears is from my era, i always see her as the britney spears of the late 90's, after that i stopped listening to her music and i think that she had started to suffer from a mental illness or severe depression after her 1st marriage's failure!

Is she crazy? Yes i think so!
Is she a victim? Yes she is!

It's sad to see her losing her mind like that plus she ain't 19 anymore, she's above 40 now, she's old and maybe feels unwanted now and people stopped caring about her as they used to be!
