What’s the most unrealistic 'everyday life' habit portrayed in hollywood movies?

Just a lot of weird degenerate behavior. Hollywood producers knew at the beginning that if people saw it in a movie they would think it was normal. After all why would a studio put weird outrageous behavior in movies in front of the whole world? And, didn't script writers study hard to make movies realistic? They got away with it for a century. Today it's even gotten to the point of trying to make homosexuality look normal. People are on to them finally though and that's a good thing. They could have wrought misery and death all across the world.

Mixed drinks at home and home bars. In TV shows from the '60's especially. Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, That '70's Show. When my dad came home from work he'd have a beer, but I've never seen him drink a martini.

That’s because TV shows from that era were informed by the previous era. When even blue collar workers wore ties to work and everyone dressed up for commuter flights. People did have fairly sophisticated home bars and the lifestyle magazines featured new cocktails for people to try.

When they show a residential street, and there are like 10 different people all out walking around on sidewalks or walking their dogs at the same time when it's the middle of the work day. My street is a ghost town. Like, maybe once a week I see someone on a bike go by real quick. Nobody ever walks around on the sidewalk on my street, not since covid anyway.

So many live in expensive neigborhoods despite never working. You see it a lot in TV shows too.

For me, it’s how much time people magically have in the morning 😅

They wake up late, cuddle, talk, have a full breakfast, perfect makeup, perfect hair, no rushing, still arrive at work on time. In real life, it’s more like: alarm, panic, coffee, maybe a bite of something, then run. Movies make everyday routines look like perfume commercials 😂
