Will millenial optimism save gen z movies if they adopted it?

Movies today are MISERABLE. Every dialogue is snappy and generic, camera angles remain the same, movies are longer for the heck of it, low contrast and gray scaling, inserting AI as a theme even though its not interesting, plus gen z films have gays and best friends for the sake of it... Y2k movies had their fault but at least they showed the power of good choices and how its great to trust and protect other people... who cares if thats unrealistic? its a damn movie! it gotta be fun and interesting and charming and dreamy ffs

In my opinion everybody is offended these days so they really can't put certain things in movies. Also everything has to be so that on political these days they just can't tell the story without having something political or some sort of social justice in it so it makes everything feel forced when you do that

Well what i really want back in the movies and media in general is sincerity. everything is too ironic and self aware now. i think we can blame the marvel movies popularizing it

To fix the movies studios would have to fire all their DEI hires, and realistically that's not going to happen. It's like getting all the shit back into Pandora's Box.
