Popcorn especially is dangerous, I’ll start with “just a few” while the trailers play and suddenly half the bucket is gone before the opening scene.

When I’m with friends or on a date I’m better at pacing myself, but alone? The snacks never stand a chance 😅🍿

have not been to the movies as of late... but I do heard that it can take almost 30 for the movie to start

also, I rather not eat during the movie, moreso if something crunchy because then... I won't hear anything at all but my munching, lmfao

The food at my local movie theatre is 80% designed for delayed consumption for that reason, so they give you popcorn which takes over an hour to eat, they give you sour jelly candy which takes at least 2-10 hours to eat, they give you nachos with cheese which takes at least 70 minutes to eat, because they want you to process the food during your entire movie playing window so that it becomes just as long lasting as the movie you are watching.

The timer on that starts as soon as I sit down but to be fair I think that's why their servings are so big lol
