A lot of younger people prefer staying in with online games, streaming, Discord, and social media, which gives them cheap, constant interaction. Clubs are expensive, stricter with security, sometimes feel unsafe, and music/fashion trends shifted toward festivals, raves, house parties, and pop-up events.

So nightlife moved, it didn’t disappear. 🌃

Not specifically. An increasing number of young people are avoiding alcohol. Also, the large and growing divide between the sexes is an issue. Nightclubs live and die by the male dollar. Most only charge cover for men, and women frequently pay less for drinks. Men who are tired of being taken advantage of in such clubs are boycotting, and rightly so. I doubt there are enough true “girls’ nights” in the world to keep clubs open for a steady week. 😂😂😂
Once good men give that sh*t up entirely and women realize they will only meet losers and date r*pists, the nightclub will become a thing of the past.

Overpriced and music has changed with the internet (by the time people can legally drink they're off mainstream music)

Huge pieces of developable real estate around here the little ones are now restaurants and the only big one became apartments

Too expensive for some people. Plus a lot of GenZ don't drink as much these days. Hence few men attending - so fewer ladies attending as no one will buy them drinks.

No, nightclubs are dying out because women are more and more often rejecting men, and when that happens, men have no reason to go to nightclubs. Men are the people who spend the money at nightclubs. Video games are probably what many men do instead of spending money at those nightclubs, where they can also get rejected by women. Nobody wants to pay to go somewhere they are not wanted and are rejected.
