Almost everything creates an "Army" stack of tokens, or creates +1/+1 counters, or regular creature tokens, or some combination of the three.
Is it just me, or is this too complicated? I'm not a noob at Magic, but now you need 20 six-sided dice and 3 or 4 20-sided dice just to track how many creatures you control and what their stats are.
This is getting ridiculous. You shouldn't need a law degree to play a card game.

You’re not alone 😅 LotR: Tales of Middle-earth definitely leans into “board clutter” design: Army tokens, amass, Food, The Ring tempt, counters everywhere… it’s a lot.
Magic’s been drifting this way for years, especially in Limited and Commander. I still enjoy the flavor, but I use labeled tokens, different-colored dice, and small notepads to stay sane.
If it feels like “work,” it’s totally fair to just draft or play sets with cleaner board states instead.
