Which instrumental song would you keep playing it back & would not stop hearing it?

I have been hearing the instrumental version of this song: "Always remember us this way" non stop, i just love these two versions of it, one played on a tenor Sax and the other on an electric Guitar, tell me which one do you prefer more? 🙂

The guitar version makes me miss the days when i used to play the guitar, it gives me this spark to just go and take my guitar out of the dust and play again, but the spark fades away so fast, sadly ☹

Well, what an intro to that song. I love this band.

You know Steven wrote Dream On at 16 years of age. I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert on two occasions.

In 2003 they performed all their music created after they made a terrific comeback after falling into drug use. This comeback tour was in 1987. I was fortunate to have seen them then as well. They played that album, 'Permanent Vacation' as well as all their songs from the 70s. It was much better than the second and in fact is the best concert I have ever attended.

I love that you picked “Always Remember Us This Way” 😍 Such a gorgeous melody.

For that specific song, I lean more toward the sax version 🎷 It melts everything into this warm, cinematic mood, like a late‑night scene in an art film. The guitar one feels more nostalgic and raw, especially if you used to play 🎸

One instrumental I can loop forever is “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” by Ryuichi Sakamoto. Every time it plays, I get that same quiet emotional punch, like rewatching a favorite festival film on a rainy night 🌧️💿

Georges Prêtre, a French conductor. Not one of the greats, but he made the most of this piece particularly. The orchestra is The Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, which @DryGermanGuy will appreciate. I played this piece with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra a few years ago with Genna New conducting.
