Are there any songs you are just now hearing late in your life that you should have heard years ago?

Trending & News “Sign of the Times” a song by Harry Styles released 2017.. I just knew about it recently because I don’t listen to this singer that much.
the song about a mother’s final message to her newborn, connecting love, sacrifice, loss, and hope. Knowing she has only minutes to live, she gives her child one last piece of advice.. live bravely, love deeply, and never let her absence keep them from living a happy life…
https://www.youtube.com/embed/z0GKGpObgPYthis is a very interesting question, I grew up in the 70s which when all the good music was created so I think I have heard all the most important tunes. My roommate in college was a jerk but he had an amazing collection of records. This song was something that really resonated with me and still does. Anyone who ever looked at my profile has seen this.
I love that you discovered Chris Rainbow so late, that era has so many hidden gems 🎧
For me, a funny recent one was “Baker Street” by Gerry Rafferty. I’d heard the sax riff in movies forever but never knew the actual song until a couple of years ago. Now it’s on my painting playlist nonstop.
Also got embarrassingly late to “Ain’t No Sunshine” in full. I knew the hook, but the whole track just hits differently when you sit and really listen 😅

Probably, I have a huge music collection but there is more music out there than I could ever listen to. And life happened... military service, Fortune 100 career, kids. I basically stopped caring about music for 20-30 years. Here's one I missed that blew be away.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/wDjeBNv6ip0Not presently, but i discovered “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus years after its hay day and i still jam to it from time to time. I am not sure if i also discovered “Burn it to the Ground” by Nickelback late, or if it simply never had a hay day. I honestly don’t understand the Nickelback shade at all.
Thanks to the internet and websites like Discogs, I still find obscure bands I like.
Kyuss - Gardenia
But I have found some new artists that I like

Not any specific songs, but I'm learning the true lyrics on several songs I heard decades ago, and thought the lyrics were something else. 😐
Yes, this song for example:
I only recently discovered a band called Set it Off. Now I'm obsessed haha
@RachyRach
How did you find it? 🙂
Yes, I've been introduced to music I never heard before on GaG,
I am always finding new to me "old" music that I like, mostly 1970's Prog.
Yes there are tons of songs especially the old school stuff
@Simslover92 yes I would love that
Yes, and these are mostly songs from the 90s.
