We have lots of games based on video games and more than a few games based on movies. But as i was honoring Mr. Tim Curry’s life’s work, i was watching “Clue” and it occurred to me that i can’t think of another movie based on a board game. Am i overlooking something? Or is “Clue” really a standalone example of this niche?

Didn't Battleship also get a semi tied in movie?
Not that I saw it, I just remember hearing about it.
Clue however was a really fun movie and my boyfriend and I watch it often enough or fall asleep to it at bedtime (my boyfriend is one of those that needs background noise to sleep).
No. There was a movie that came out in 1983 called Krull (it had a younger Liam Neeson in it). They made a board game of that movie as well. I saw the movie and i owned the board game.
Thing is that is a board game of a movie... Clue was a movie of a board game
As far as I know yes it's the only one
Another movie oddity has to be Convoy which is a film based on the C. W. McCall song of the same name
