What does it give you in terms of good feelings and would you say you're addicted to listening to music?

Music is like a mood remote control for me 🎧
It calms my anxiety, boosts my energy, makes painting flow easier, and even turns walks or rides into little movie scenes in my head.

It gives me comfort, motivation, nostalgia and inspiration all at once.
Addicted? Pretty much yes. A day without music feels strangely empty and flat for me 🎶

It really pulled me in as a kid I could completely dive into it and ignore life around me. Now as I'm older it's still nice but I'm not as focused on it as I was before. But I like relaxation music a lot now. To kind of relax and process what happened during the day before I go to sleep.

Music 🎶 has always been a very big part of my life until March 2026, then it just stopped.

I was having a kinda LDR on GaG in March up until he wanted to tell me what he does to himself sexually in private. I told him "No" I don't want to hear that from you or know that about you".
That was the end of it and I just haven't wanted to listen to music since then.🤷🏼‍♀️

I absolutely an addicted to it.

And it gives escapism as well as a mood shifter.

When I listen to good lyrics I end up picturing myself living out the story being told in the song.

In many cases that feels good.

100% yes. I am so addicted to music. I use it for everything. Cleaning up, working out, writing, therapy etc. It keeps me motivated to do things and brings joy to my world. Without it, I don't know how I would have gotten through a lot of things.
