You know those songs that sound like they belong at the very end of a movie, right before the credits roll? lol… Could be something beautiful, sad, dramatic, or even hopeful. What song comes to mind?

"Avatar", the 1985 song by Dead Can Dance.
The ending is soaring. I've often thought this should be last song played at the end scene of a movie as the credits then gently begin as the scene continues. When the song is over, then the bulk of the credits roles.
My description above may not be the clearest, but a good example is the ending of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" which is currently free on YouTube.
Here is is: Watch the ending of the movie starting at the 2:13:00 mark. John Williams scores with a variation of "When You Wish Upon A Star" and the Close Encounters theme as the mothership departs. The credits slowly appear and, when the mothership has disappeared, the music continues, but varies, as the bulk of the credits is displayed.

In my mind, I've thought of a somewhat similar ending in which a man who has "lost" (as in defeated or is making a sacrifice) and is leaving a planet. This is when the "Avatar" begins as he gets ready to take-off in his ship. This takes awhile, but is done silently as the music is the only sound we hear. "Avatar" really begins to soar in the final 3rd of the song starting around the 3:00 mark. Beginning at that point, the final shot is from orbit with the camera looking down onto the planet. The credits slowly begin here with the ship gradually coming into view growing in size. There a long vocal note in the song which ends as the ship eventually passes the camera. The camera pans to follow the ship but stops panning as the ship recedes with an apparent target of the planet's sun in the background. That's when the final vocal notes are sung and the song soon ends. As the song ends, the movie either fades to black or the ship is not longer visible and so the rest of the credits begin, likely with other music.
This is "Avatar".

there's going to be, definitely... a second part to this movie...
there you go
This is a classic end of movie fade to black song.

It's a bit muffled, you might want to turn the sound up a tad:

“Holocene” by Bon Iver instantly comes to mind for that final-scene energy ✨
It has that quiet, reflective build that feels like watching your life in montage as the camera slowly pulls away. It’s bittersweet but strangely hopeful, like a character finally accepting everything that’s happened and walking into whatever comes next as the screen fades to black. 🎬🎶
