Mine is Fight Club one.
What is your favourite final scene from a movie?
Mine is Fight Club one.
That's a good question.
Gee, there are quite a few.
I used to love the final scene in "Manhattan" a great deal because the coy smile Woody Allen gives at the end as it seems like he glances at the camera and that is priceless. It's a bit creepy now knowing what we know about Woody.
But, it's equally wonderful in "Cast Away", a movie in which all the scenes once he gets off the island are priceless and important.
"Forrest Gump", too.
And "The Shawshank Redemption".
And "The Green Mile".
Some final scenes are also very good but you really need to know the movie well to appreciate them.
For instance, "Solaris" (2002).
and "Colossus: The Forbin Project"
also, "The Quiet Earth".
Also...
"The Adjustment Bureau"

"The Time Traveler's Wife"

In "Contagion", the last scene, so to speak, is really a series of "connect-the-dots" which explains the origin of the virus.

In "Wild Things", there are snippets between the end credits that fill in all the story gaps. It's excellent because nothing like that was ever done before.
"Planet of the Apes" (1968) is visually well-done but the script is poor in that final scene, so I can't really include it.

I think I will go with "Being There" which does have something of an unexpected mind-blowing ending although you really need to see the picture to appreciate it.

Just another...
Woody Allen's soliloquy at the end of "Love And Death":

Then there's the controversial "2001: A Space Odyssey"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXS8P0HksQo
But, also, "Platoon" has a great ending although the dialog could have been a wisp better.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p25bS4VXYq8
And "Saving Private Ryan"

The ending of "Dr. Zhivago" is very poetic, but you really need to see the whole movie to appreciate the last scene and lines.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn1eDT93H1Y
and, of course, "Citizen Kane", arguably the greatest movie ever made.
The whole movie is a search for the meaning of Charles Foster Kane's last word: "Rosebud".
They never discover it... but we do.

I also loved the end of "Signs". I'd post a clip, but some asshole added pop music over the credits thus ruining it.
"Sixth Sense" is also good, but I predicted the "twist ending".
"(500) Days of Summer" is another wonderful ending.
The last two scenes are wonderful...
Here he is in his last scene with Summer.

Then he meets Autumn.

I watched my favorite movie again last week. The movie is Open Range with Kevin Costner. The fight scene is outstanding but the final scene is extremely poignant. It alluded to the fact that cowboys were a dying breed.
I hated that movie until the end. 😂
I don't like horror movies now, but I did as a teenager. The best ending ever was Evil Dead 2.
Contact (Jody Foster and Matthew McConahey๐) had a great ending too!
@exitseven It was good, but I didn't read the book.

The Last Duel, its just two people fighting brutally trying to kill eachother to prove their innocence and guilt. Awesome movie as a whole.
I just watched its trailer and it does look like a good movie ngl.
Jodie Comer was probably the best actor in the whole movie, in my opinion, she was amazing.
I actually have never seen a movie with her in it. I swear you are going to make me watch it ๐ I'm easily swayed when it comes to movies and shows haha.
It has sexual bits in it too. Some lighthearted sex and some not so consensual so if that bothers you then I suggest dont watch it.
I had watched Criminal Minds and things like that, so I think I should be alright with watching this too but thank you for letting me know.
Braveheart. Chills... many chills...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/eclbaC3q94kProbably the last scene in Scarface. The machine gun battle inside of Tony's mansion.
the final duel between the three of them then this is so classic 😂
Inglorious Basterds. Best movie ever made.
Avengers Endgame
