I did not vote simply because from what you described, it's not that he likes you in a good way or that he doesn't like you at all. 'Slapping your butt' is sort of rude in my opinion not only because of the fact that he does it in public places but also because he does it so frequently (like wth! 5 times O_O). Is that he does it to other girls too (which would indicate that he has a low respect for women generally)? This might sound hard but you should speak to him in private, face to face and ask why he does that, tell him you think it's disrespectful and see what he says. You never know, it could be that he likes you and doesn't know how to show it, but he needs to know he can't do that anymore. Show him you have self respect and believe me if he's as good a friend as you think, he'll stop. If after that talk he treats you better or doesn't talk to you (too embarrassed), you can approach him about a week after and tell him the rumors you heard and ask him if he likes you and see what he says. But, if after the first talk he slaps your butt again, you'll know he just sees you as a piece of ass and you should cross him out of the people you hang with/talk to list. Good luck!

Well in that case, he might just be doing it because it's the only way he thinks he can get your attention. So speak to him about it and about the rumor that he likes you (the rumor first then tell hi not to publicly disrespect you like that) and see what he says, if positive, tell him how you feel too and see where it goes... relationship maybe ;)

Him putting his hands on you has nothing to do with love. He might like you for you or he might like you for your body. Im not going to tell you how to handle yourself, but I would be careful with the butt smacking because he might think you're easy and other people might think you're easy. You yourself could also get caught up with the attention he's giving you, instead the potential respect he could give you.

i think he wants you but he doesn't love you i think its more lust then love he might think your hot but that's about it because usually guys that LOVE someone respect them and don't slap there butt like its something you normally do unless you guys are really that close and you don't care i don't know seems like something a guy would do to someone they think is easy
