Well not necessarily. From my experience, when i've seen things like this occur, The guy/woman is usually attracted to that other person and doesn't know how to react making the whole situation awkward lol.

But that's just from my experience.. It could be a different reason but im sure that's possibly it.

Did he look at you, make eye contact, seem avoidant, was he by himself, or was he talking to someone. Would you say he could've expected to see you there? Do you know each other? When and what was the last thing you said to each other?

The situation was that we almost ran into each other. Um I had talked to him earlier but it wasn't anything beyond a simple remark.

And he was with himself among other people walking

Then I wouldn't think too much into it. It could be, he either realized he looked "not his best" and then saw you before realizing which would imply he has interests in you. Or it could be nothing much like he remembered something such as an argument or an answer he was thinking about. Is he flirty or does he seem to day dream a lot?

It seemed like he was paralyzed from running into me that I could hardly ascribe this gesture into a lapsing into thought. I can't tell if he's flirty type of guy.. not sure about a daydreamer.
