If you accidentally saw your neighbor nude?

So like you're in your house doing whatever. And you look out your window and see your neighbor (who you are good friends with and is the opposite gender as you) is in their living room with the curtains open, COMPLETELY in the nude, sleeping on their couch faceup. And then they start to wake up and you quickly look away, and you don't know if they saw you or not.

What would you do? Would you apologize to them? Or just pretend it never happened, and maybe avoid them for a while?

Okay... So I asked this question because this happened to me yesterday. And I was the one on the couch. I forgot to close the curtains...
I did see that she was looking at me. And I assumed and hoped she'd just pretend like she didn't. But this morning she came over and apologised to me for the accident. And I didn't think that was a normal response. I guess it isn't?

So if you WERE to go over and apologise for seeing them. Why would you do that? Or why do you think she would do that?

Hmmm... that's an intetesting story. It was not her fault for catching you in the nude. Maybe she felt guilty and thought that you might suspect she was spying on you. I would pretend like it never happened. The image will obviously remain in my head forever, but I won't make any deal out of it. Just let it go like it was an innocent thing. It will avoid awkwardness in the future.

Ya I know.. I should've checked the curtains. I can't even remember going to sleep but I do normally check.
I doubt she was spying on me because she has a boyfriend. But I guess she could have apologized cause I could've though that maybe.

Ignore it, but maybe make a mental note of it. I'm a nudist, so finding out my neighbor might have similar tenancies might make me more likely to invite them to the beach with us, etc.

I don't know if she's a nudist. But I'm not. I just don't wear clothes when I'm by myself..

I would honestly ignore it and move on. I mean yeah, I would definitely be like "wtf?" And then go about my business.

It's their responsibility to close the blinds and curtains if they're going to be in the nude; otherwise someone will see them. It's nothing for you to feel bad or responsible for.

I would apologize to her, the next time I saw her. Just quickly "sorry about the other day," and move on. Just so she knows I didn't look intentionally, and so she maybe remembers to close her curtains next time..
