If someone accidentally walked in on you while you were nude?

Question

And you only had one hand free to cover yourself, what would you instinctively cover?

I’m curious about cultural differences in privacy and nakedness, so feel free to answer in comment with your region/country of origin.

For whatever reason, I have never been all that concerned with being seen naked by men or women, strangers or people I know. Probably because my dad was a doctor and while nudity was not a lifestyle or anything, my dad tended to treat nudity like any other day at the office.

To be sure, I only ever saw my dad naked in a gym locker room, and I never saw my mom naked. However, I almost routinely saw my younger and older brother naked and my sister, too, if not quite as much - and they saw me.

In fact, my younger brother and I were famous, or infamous, for coming down to breakfast either in our underwear - tighty-whities - or totally nude. My mother would just sigh and say it was the cost of doing business with boys in the house.

Anyhow, my girlfriend and I tend to be somewhat casual about nudity - me more than her - and our young children have seen us naked. We don't make a point of it, but if they happen to see it, we don't make an issue of it.

We want them to accept their naked bodies as natural and not something to be ashamed of. Albeit, that they need t be aware that there is a time and a place.

Something of an issue with our oldest, who is a little firecracker who wants to sleep in the nude like daddy. (Mommy actually sleeps in pajamas.) We put him to bed in his pajamas - only to find him in the morning completely naked. I am flattered that he wants to be like his father, but our neighbors got an eyeful one time. Suffice to say, we're working on this.

Anyhow, long way around, it would not make an impression on me if someone caught me in the nude. I would just take in its stride - figuring that most people know what the naked body looks like.

My stepdaughter walked in on me while I was changing clothes and carried on a casual conversation like it was not a big deal. So I finished changing my clothes.

It depends, if I'm laying down I'd cover down there, but if I'm standing I dont think it would matter so much. The person who walked in would only see my boobs and some pubic hair if I'm standing. But if laying down, they would see the vagina and I would try to cover.

I've been walked in on by an adult woman while I was naked. I didn't much care, as she's married, and know what a guys look like, and we're around the same age, etc. Because of that, I was not embarrassed.

I wouldn't, but that doesn't mean I'm an exhibitionist, or anything. I'm just not shy about being naked. I take very good care of myself, so it's not like I have anything to be embarrassed about.

Why rush to cover when nudity is all natural.. If you react stressed out, the person who caught you will feel ashamed or stressed for nothing...

I wouldn't care less if somebody accidentally walked in on me while I was naked nude. I'm not gonna cover up my naked nude self I don't even close my blind's on my window's at night. The only time I'm wearing clothe's is when not in my bedroom.
