I don't know how I should handle this situation. I've been with this guy for 6 months.
The other day I was with him and he called his friend and had it on speaker phone. His friends girlfriend answered and was like "are you still with that fat chick" I just looked over at him and all he said was "That was mean. She's standing right here"
I'm a size 12, so I'm not the medias description of thin, but I'm not obese and I've never considered myself FAT. I was quite happy with the way I looked up until that moment and I've become really self conscious since then. He told me after he got off the phone that his friend and friends girlfriend had been by his apartment a few times and saw a pic of us together on his refrigerator and would always make comments about me being "fat" I asked him if he joked with them about it and that's why she thought it was okay to say something like that and he said no.. but I know that he pressured his last girlfriend on her weight to the point that she broke up with him over it. She was smaller than me, but he's never said anything to me about my weight. I told him I was upset that all he said was "that was mean" and nothing else.. he said I was right and he should have said something else but he was just shocked she said that.
I don't know. I guess I'm just paranoid that he's making jokes about me to his friend and his girlfriend. Its kind of hurtful and I don't really know what to think.
