Why do my boyfriends friends tease me?

they added me on Facebook and then talk to me a lot and comment on my statuses. when my boyfriend writes things on my wall they like the post and say "blehhh". when they talk to me they just say "hey what's up?" and then one of them asked to text me and talks to me a lot. they both tease my boyfriend too. I guess they don't tease in a mean way since I can tell they are joking when they call me a chode or a jew but I'm just wondering why his friends do that to me?
