I found my sister's boyfriend on tinder. Should I tell her?

So i just started tinder and went on the swiping tour. Saw my sisters bfs profile. Made a screenshot, but didn't swipe right.

It wouldn't be that weird, knowing my sister, if they maybe have an open relationship (wasnt in his bio though, his bio was really nice and normal). She is also very depressed right now and has told me that she has told him; if he has needs that she can't deal with right now, she is okay with him finding it somewhere else

Should i tell her this or not?

They also just moved in together and have been dating for over a year.

I told my sister about it, in a very serious tone. She had to laugh, she knows her boyfriend had a tinder account but she also knows he deleted the app when they stared dating so the account is still active but he isn't on it anymore

I think I would approach the boyfriend first. Maybe test the waters there see what you can find out. Maybe your sister's fine with his profile still being there. I've been dating a lady for 5 months. My Tinder and Plenty of Fish profiles are still up. Yes my girlfriend knows and has no problem with it. She's also welcome to check the messages as she sees fit. Sometimes it's just fun to see what's out there. It's kind of like walking through the mall. And looking at the passers by. It's ok to look just don't touch.

How do you know that she didn't meet him on Tinder? Unless you know how they met and personally know him, I say that as her sister you are obligated to warn her of possible cheating and you have the proof. Otherwise, stay out of it. They shouldn't be moving in together at all before marriage. She's making tons of mistakes. But it's her life.

Unfortunately you have to tell her. If she finds out any other way it will hurt her more than coming from her sister. You can be supportive and she will know that she can trust you. It might be more difficult for you right now because she's depressed, but she deserves to know and he DOESN'T deserve her. Hope she (and you!) are okay.

This is a tough one since it could be an old account that never got deleted or he really is cheating you could wither talk to your sister or talk to the boyfriend but he could also lie and say it's an old account when it's not I'm not very familiar with tinder so I don't know how you could tell if it's old or not I would see what the boyfriend says then maybe lowkey ask the sister if she knew he had tinder and see if maybe she already knew about it

You can care about your sister and still not lie. If he is cheating it will hurt her regardless if you test him or not. Just saying you don’t have to stoop to a lower level just to catch a guy, it’s better to be authentic than lie.

I am still confused. Consistently get the feedback that women want an ‘honest man’. However have seen more than one example like this where it seems like it’s acceptable to lie. Can you see how that doesn’t make sense? If it’s acceptable to lie, then I guess honesty isn’t really desired and women are lying when that’s what they want? My sister would want an honest man, and if he isn't honest and she doesn't see it yet, I got to jump in and make her see with clear proof

Loving your sister is awesome and I support that behavior. I just wouldn’t want to lie to protect my brother if the situation was reversed. Wanting an honest man means being honest and not lying.
