I think you can get the best advice from people you don’t know and have no need to talk to you! The best advice only comes from a person who doesn’t have to think about what they say! We never want to hurt our friends or family so therefore our advice we give is said from what we either think they want to hear or what we think we should say!
Ask a stranger and they will give their honest opinion...
I’m currently going through a hard time and know that if I asked my friends and family what to do they will say what they think they should...
I know what I should do yet fear doing it for the judgement they will give me!
I give the best advice to people, I just wish I could listen to my own advice!
Hence I love this site to be able to be who I am and genuinely try and help and answer questions as myself! It’s a way to be truly who you are and perhaps one day i can be who I am in peace!
Online friendships are the best friendships you can have as I truly believe the people that ask the questions are looking for an answer their so called best friends couldn’t answer! We ask strangers the questions we think are weird to ask the people in our lives! Yet what is hilarious is that our real friends are doing the same thing!
Long live online forums for giving people the mask they potentially need to be who they are!
