I feel you entirely. My sister is thin, blonde, and bucholicly beautiful. Wheras it took me quite a while to blossom. Quite a LONG while. It's absolutely wonderful that you've got such confidence in yourself despite the comments!
Your mother probably doesn't realize that what she's doing is so harmful to your self esteem, many mothers don't, but that doesn't mean the behavior is in any way heathy or excusable. If you have the confidence and feel it would be productive, confront her calmly about the way she speaks to you and make her aware of the way it makes you feel. If you think that WOULDN'T be productive, just respond to their negativity with positive statements about yourself. They may come to see it your way too, looking through your eyes!

I have PCOS and gained weight especially around my stomach area but I've been dieting for 3months and lost some weight.
No one in my family bullied me about my weight gain though. They all told me I'm still beautiful and encouraged me with my diet.
You know I’m starting to think I’m becoming the fatter sibling lol. I don’t know my brother’s or little sister’s weights but they don’t look like they carry as much (in proportion to their height) as I do. I probably eat the most too. I’m always eating… and my big love handles have been showing it more and more every day because of it XD
Not going through this, but I can tell you your mother is wrong. Lots of guys like chubby girls, and you have an adorable figure. It is a myth that skinny=attractive. Personally, I would much rather have a chubby girl than some borderline anorexic so called "model". Just by yourself, be confident, and the right guy will come along.

Your mum probably just wants the best for you. I would just try to look at it as she trying to be nice in her own warped way. But the tummy hanging out of the bottom of a shirt isn’t the best look in my eyes but I’m not one to stare or judge either so who cares.
have you ever told them not to touch or make comments about your tummy? if them doing those things upset you, you should show them that you're upset. but seriously losing some weight would help most people with their health. i'm trying to lose weight too
Yes, this is very toxic behavior. My mother never hesitated to comment negativly about my body. I moved out 3 years ago but it still affects my self esteem.

I'm chubby too, and my family always comments on it. I've put on more recently, and tbh I kinda like it. I'm more confident in my softer form.

I did and them I got more in shape and she got out of shape so now it's reversed and so satisfying.

I always say, treat your body like a temple. But if you do not care, then others will not care. Moms always want best for their kids, even if it might not seem like it. Why do you do activities together?
