Is mostly the not having so many responsibilities and so many others counting on you that I miss sometimes. And the innocent belief that life will be so much better as an adult but that's not always the case.
I kind of miss those days of childhood. Especially when you mention the riding bikes and hanging out with friends. There were definitely difficult aspects to it for me but over all it was cool.
Yeah noone had a perfect childhood, I certainly didn't. No such thing as perfect. But miss the carefree days when you had less responsibilities and the innocence that even when things were bad you believed they could/ would get better.
Hell yea. You didn’t have to worry someone was going to pull you in their car. You don’t have to worry that some fragile nutjob is going to snap and shoot up your school. Things were simple and straightforward
Nope, I had a horrible childhood. Then I screwed up badly and lost the last remaining childhood years in a juvenile center. They wouldn't let me out till age 16.
Basically my childhood consisted of getting abused, sexually molested and finally getting locked up.
I do miss some aspects when I was around 6 - 7 like how life was easy and £100 was a lot of money but there's also other things I dont miss like not being able to drive and school and when I was that age due to medical issue i also wore nappies during the day so not fun
Days that seemed to last forever, the difficult bits like money were managed for you, people adored you for your potential, and you were free to learn about the world with wide eyes and enthusiasm. No. I look forward, not back.
Now if the back became the présent I would enjoy it, but living in the present and then to go back to the past it would be impossible to enjoy. Well most people
When all life was about was being your parents property, puppet and slave till the moonlight came out. Unpaid manual Labor, starvation, not being cared for. When your only responsibilities were going to school and being a scapegoat if something out of my control didn't went the way they wanted to. When you couldn't wait till you finally moved out of their home.
hell no. I do not miss the gulag. I've grown up there and I'm not going back there. If anything i want those memories erased.
My things are much better now but I'm still having a very long way towards finding my new home and a normal middle class life🙁 i feel like a staying guest where i am, not like I'm home.
No not really. I was always super shy and didn't have a lot of friends as a kid, plus my parents divorced when I was 3. I definitely like being a teen more
And if I could go back to about 5 years old while still retaining the wisdom and knowledge I have now and relive my life, yes, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I wouldn’t necessarily go back but I think everyone misses childhood to some degree

Before adult responsibilities and fears set in.
Exactly
Nope, I had a horrible childhood.

Hope things are better for you now❣
Thanks. Yeah things are better.
That's good. Glad to hear that

Aww bet you were cute in your nappies 😊lol
most people thought it was weird and mum was never exactly discreet when I needed a change
Lol funny but not funny?
Well it wasn't funny at the time but looking back it is kinda funny 😂😂😂
Hell no. I never liked having no rights as a child ontop of two people trying to mold me in two different ways.
Don't even get me started on how awful school was with some of the teachers and most of the other kids.
Fuck that. Now I'm free and 12 years later, I'm still giddy about it.

Makes sense
I do miss them... I was a very popular kid back then... I also had a lot of energy and positivity
You always have possibility as long as you have life

I'm sorry your childhood wasn't a happy one. Hope things are better in your life now
My things are much better now but I'm still having a very long way towards finding my new home and a normal middle class life🙁 i feel like a staying guest where i am, not like I'm home.
You'll get there. Well, I hope you do
I like that people but my parents keep telling me that.
Well who're you going to listen to?
Believe in yourself, listen to yourself.
Exactly!
You got it👍❤
I like the advantages of being an adult, but I will admit: The idea is tempting…
Ikr 😊
Yes and no. I don’t miss being afraid of everything I was afraid of then.
Yeah but aren't you way more of things as an adult? I am.
Not as much. Sure I worry about things, but not afraid. Or maybe I don’t notice as much now.
Nope I’m glad my childhood is over too much neglect and abuse. Can I have retake on another childhood filled with innocent days.
Right? Or as an adult? Life, period?
I'd go back if I would have the knowledge not to waste my life etc. not sure I would like to without
Don't we always waste/ not appreciate till it's too late?
Yeah. if only there was a way to have known what we know now
Ikr we could bottle and sell that knowledge.. always little bit too late🤷♀️
No not really. I was always super shy and didn't have a lot of friends as a kid, plus my parents divorced when I was 3. I definitely like being a teen more
I didn't really have a happy childhood, so no. I enjoy the benefits of being an adult.
I'm glad things are better for you as an adult❤
Nah. My asthma and allergies got the best of me then... life is better now with them more under control
Sorry but glad to hear is under control now.
Appreciate it.
No problem❣
No. I enjoy being able to poison myself and no one getting all butthurt about consuming a bottle of whiskey for breakfast on my days off.
Ha funny that's what I had for breakfast... shot of whiskey lmao
🥃cheers
Definitely yes. Adulthood really sucks. You have to think of a lot of things like money, career, love life, friends and etc.
Yes I do miss the carefree days of being a child.
And if I could go back to about 5 years old while still retaining the wisdom and knowledge I have now and relive my life, yes, I would do it in a heartbeat.
