I really don't have many girlfriends; I tend to get along better with guys. But the few females I do associate with, we're close but not super close- by that I mean I can talk to them about basic things, maybe ask about guys and other random topics. But I wouldn't confide any deep secrets or trust them with my life.

... I know, that sounds terrible! But as I said, I just am not as close to women as I am to guys. The close female friends I did have in the past proved to be... untrustworthy and unreliable.

My best girlfriends know *all* the skeletons in my closets, I have no secrets with any of them. And it gone both ways for almost as long as we’ve known each other. I think it helps us all understand each other better.
