I'm attracted to my best friend's sister. What should I do?

My best friend's sister is a beautiful girl who I consider are someone who I. We have had a lot of interaction and know a lot about each other obviously through her brother (my best friend) aa well. We both know each other's family too again because of my friendship with her brother since childhood. I just don't think my friend will take it well and I'm afraid our friendship will be finished. I just don't know what to do. Tell him? Just keep quite for the sake of my friendship? His sister also likes me and is not sure about this situation. she's my age and my best friend is 2 years younger.

Im confident that won't happen. Me and her have honest intentions. Its a big step for us and we want all the whole family to know it. Im sure that implies that we are serious about each other.

just tell him his sisters a looker and youd totally fck her brains out as a joke obviously, and see how he reacts. He'll probably say yea whatever go for it, then proceed, if he says wtf later, tell him but you said it was okay and stare into his eyes seriously. Then reaffirm "but you said!"

His sister and I have it under control. We'll make an announcement the next time our families are together. Both our families know each other. at least that way everyone will be able to understand that we have honest intentions and hopefully they'll celebrate with us.

You should at least casually say "your sisters got a thing for me and i think we get on well, i know me and you are mates and slip in a joke at least you'll know im decent and i'll look after her as other guys always seem to upset her"... he might say yay and if youve got the energy for that then go ahead, it'll keep her coming to me cryin and shit.

He knows very well. I've always said that I will only date a girl if I think we have a connection and we both have intentions of pursuing a long term relationship. That will hopefully work in my favour.

Maybe you should ask how he would feel about it, you might not be able to hang out as much with him either if you do date her but sometimes these things work

I just texted her and we are thinking that next time our families are together, we just come clean and tell our parents and siblings and then see how they take it. If we're lucky, they'll ask if we're looking to get married in the near future.

This is the best advice I've come across. Thank you. His sister and I have however agreed to be patient and let everyone know when both our families are together. Our families know each other and since the intentions from both sides are honest, fingers crossed, both our loved ones will celebrate this.
