How do you show affection towards family and friends?

Mainly by being there for them, lend an ear etc cause I’m not around most of the time but when I am, I like to help them with whatever I can and spend time with them. I also hug them a lot but really my whole family is pretty affectionate so it’s not weird lol same goes for friends

I dont physically or verbally show my affection to family. To friends, I hug them. I typically show through actions such as making them food, taking care of them, helping them out, or visiting them.

I always say I love yous every night , even at my age because it could be the last time
Also I'm quite shy and introverted so I make sure they are financially stable

I'm quite out of the way in my room most the time and barely show emotion

Depends on how close I am to them. If they're someone I talk to frequently, they know they don't need me asking about their problems. They can let it all out. If they don't wanna share, then it's something I better now know for their own sake. But they end up telling me later anyways; those are rare occasions. Ones I'm close with feel free to open up to me without being asked about the ongoing problem.

My best friend's love language is acts of service, so it doesn't really depend on how they show it, I just show mine easier through words of affirmation. It's more genuine and from the heart for me.
