I grew up with this cousin since I was young and she was like my only best friend what should I do?

I messaged her a month ago and she never responded but she continuously posts pictures. I told my dad about this and my dad told me to just forget about her and to erase her because she has spoken bad about me and that she’s just like her dad (backstabber). Like when I was muslim my dad told me that she told everybody and made fun of me this was years ago though I was like 14 or 15. I don’t know if I should block her though and just forget about her? I feel like I would feel bad if I do. My dad I don’t think told me everything that she said bad about me even though I tried asking. I still care about her but she doesn’t care about me maybe it’s because she has schizophrenia though that she only cares about herself? I don’t know. My family currently doesn’t get along with that uncle and my other uncle as well and we haven’t seen them in a long time.

My dad also doesn’t want me to talk to her again and has told me repeatedly to keep my distance from her but my dumb ass doesn’t listen and still cares about her

My parents both wnat me to block her and my mom told me that she doesn’t answer me because of what her dad said about my mom that she’s a bad person and stuff basically the family problems. Regardless I’ve never been involved in their family problems I’m too shy for that never commented to them about it either
