Girls, Issue with how my aunt treats me?

I was over at my aunt's house and she was talking to me about her women's self defense class she is taking. I laughed and thought it was funny. She told me to not laugh because it taught her moves that could kick my butt. That made me laugh even more because she is almost 50 like 5'1'' and i'm 20 and 6'2''.

I told her there's no way any of those moves would work on me, She guaranteed that one move would definitely work. So I challenged her that she couldn't take me down with one of the moves she learned. So she says fine, but i'm gonna warn you against it.

With that we went to the living room and she said, are you ready.. then out of no where she kicks me right in the balls, I went down and she started giggling about how she was right and she only used a light kick.

How unfair is this move for an aunt to pull on her nephew, and can you believe that she was giggling

I mean you did challenge her, and self defense classes aren't martial arts, their purpose is to teach people how to hurt someone quickly and efficiently so they can escape. It's not blocking or punching, it's swift and effective.

My martial arts experience is teaching me forms and kicks and punches and other kinds of strikes. That's all well and good but mostly it's about discipline and hard work.

My self defense classes taught me how to fuck people up. I know 6 ways to get out of a front choke and they're things like, grab their ears and push your thumbs into their eyes hard and fast, knife hand them in the throat, hyper extend their elbow, break their knee, or at least make it buckle. And, of course - hit them in the nuts.

Now you know. Self defense isn't wrestling, it isn't MMA, it's how to get out of a situation fast and hurt that person as much as possible in the process so they can't get back up and follow you/catch you. It doesn't matter how big or tough you are, having someone jam their thumbs into your eyes, having someone knife hand you in the throat, having someone pinch and push and hit you in certain ways will make your body shut down. There's a reason there are illegal moves in MMA.

Now you know, I guess. Don't be an arrogant fool next time.

They don't teach you to spar, they teach you to hurt. fair and unfair don't matter on the streets, and you're dumb if you think it does. She clearly warned you that what she was going to do was going to be unpleasant and you told her to do it, so it is very much on you at that point
