A couple of months ago my aunt could hardly walk. For a couple of years before that she still had trouble walking. Well, we went to the doctor, and he said its due to her long term drinking. He even said moderate drinking could cause it. So she hasn't drank for a couple of months, and she's been doing physical therapy, and she's been doing great. Well, I went to my therapy appointment today, and was telling my therapist how good things have been going. I just got home, and my aunt is shit faced drunk. I didn't say anything, because you can't reason with a drunk, but I am fuming. She knows that her drinking was causing her walking issues, and she knew it was stressing me out, and she drank anyways. My thoughts are fuck her. But im not sure if I should be angry.

You need to be patient with her and try to get her to seek help. She's struggling to quit because of other issues mainly mental. Also, I know how it feels when you're trying to help someone, but they keep on doing things that not only affects them badly, but affects you too. It gets really frustrating, but if you express that frustration, she'll start hiding things from you rather than stop doing things that's bad for health.
Drinkers can't ever drink again if they want to recover. The issues are mental and if they fall off the wagon, they fall hard.
Agreed. Do I have a right to be upset with her though?
I don't know if being upset is best, disappointed would be better.
