Is “pay attention to how they treat you when they’re angry always true?”?

One of my “friends” got mad at me because of something that she forgot… But later when we were on bad terms, she says that I’m a negative person and I’m draining.. however, my defense is, a negative person isn’t going to put up with YOUR bs and dry your tears, listen to your problems, make you smile, all while dealing with their own shit.. Negative people are negative, they don’t try to make others NOR themselves happy… they spread negativity, they bath in it… they’re not fun to be around… So, if she views me as this even though it cannot be applied, why does she still keep a friendship with me? Why does she keep calling me and saying how much she loves me and “doesn’t know where she’d be without me”…. I really need to know the answer to this..

I’m not even sure… I thought I had a friend, I thought I was getting the love that I give others in return.. But after that day, I was asked WHY are we friends… I cannot answer that anymore… I don’t think that we are.
