I have three cousins and one older brother. I hug my cousins from time to time whenever I visit them. Two of my cousins (theyāre girls) live in New Zealand, so I donāt see them often. (And Iām obviously not referring to innocent childhood experimentation that occurs because of availability of the child, and lack of parental supervision.) innocent childhood experimentation is not sexual abuse, itās a natural curiosity and happens more often than most people realize. (unless there is greater than a five year age difference, then it is considered pedophilia regardless of the age of the offender.)
Alsoā¦ Iām acutely aware that to a girl (or boy) who WAS sexually assaulted by their father or blood related brother, then it is a MASSIVE problem for them. Complete with all the trauma, and PTSD that accompanies such a betrayal! I was speaking merely in general, that fathers an brothers are not the main cause of sexual abuse, not even close!
