My sister booked her vacation for her to leave on the day of my birthday. Would you be annoyed or am I being unreasonable?

I'd say ask her to meet you at a mutually favorite place to eat and then like have a cake or brownies pre-prepared and tell her if she is going to go on her trip on your b day the very least she can do is then celebrate your b day early.

in my opinion so long as you guys aren't like mortal family astranged enemies I'd just make light of it all. Who knows maybe she flat out forgot it was your b day that week or whatever. ya never know what is going on with peoples minds with how busy and chaotic the whole pandemic has been.

I had a friend forget her own like first marriage anniversary cause how crazy the last like 2 years have been.(My close friend was joking while we were buzzed about it, he was laughing the whole time as apparently she spent the whole night apologizing for forgetting it. And his response was quote "I was just glad that day I spent it entirely with you.")

Then again I'm not the one to hold grudges unless you make me hold one.

And tell her I celebrate your b day with all my energy and I'd like my b day wish this year is for you to celebrate it with me. And if you are going on a trip to try and avoid it NICE TRY I'll just celebrate it early and still with you. And just tell her no matter what ups or downs come here on out you will always be her sister and all you would like is for her to stay in your life <3

You're being unreasonable because once your sister was an adult she had the right to spend her time when/where she wishes to. Just don't go making her birthday the most important day of the year from now on or you'll be begging her to view you as a sucker.

What’s so annoying about her booking a vacation on your birthday? Maybe she got a good deal. I can’t really say as it wouldn’t annoy me I’d like the peace and quiet. I wouldn’t be upset about it.
